Wed, January 10, 2007 - 7:15 PMNot that I'm a big ol' cellphone guy (I have one, but so so basic), but I've heard some not-pleasant things about Cingular service (not to mention I'd be seriously analog anywhere within 30 miles or so of my little piece of Podunk).
AppleTV seems to have my household's attention, OTOH. -

Wed, January 10, 2007 - 11:18 PMapple tv is a yes, but 40 gigs? thats the stupidest thing I ever heard. you would blow that out in a second yeh i know you can hook up an external to is usb port. another problem is its not a tivo type thing its just a hard drive. It doesnt record movies. they shoould have called it airWaves. cause thats what its meant for to buy shit on itunes and the stream it to a tv. Other companies all ready have this product available.

Re: MacWorld San Francisco 2007 Keynote
Thu, January 11, 2007 - 10:19 AMLOVE the new iphone. i'm already using Cingular (after using the other services) and find it best for me.
i love the look and all the features that it has. i've known for a long time now, that apple was making a touchscreen ipod, i just didn't know it was going to be a phone as well!
Don't really care about the appletv. I already have a homebuilt tivo unit connected to the 42inch plasma and the hardrive is WAY bigger than 40gig.
