It's only about 100x faster :) Make sure you upgrade all your apps to Universal Binaries for a real performance boost (all Apple apps and most free apps are Universal Binaries now). Microsoft Office, most Adobe/Macromedia products, and a lot of audio software are not yet Universal Binaries but will probably still run faster on a MacBook Pro than on a Titanium Powerbook... Also consider a MacBook instead of a MacBook Pro since there's very little difference in performance for most apps (other than graphics intense apps like games)!
